Brother Tom, from an earlier hunt…

I just got word from Tom that he is safely out after his opening weekend pursuit for an archery ram. High winds and wet weather had him decide to leave his spike camp to recharge his batteries and he will head back up in a few days….

But he didn’t come down empty handed! Check out these moose sheds he found at 11,300 ft elevation. Pristine condition and I know they are going to look awesome on the wall! Way to go brother! You’re an inspiration to all us flatlanders!

I am recently retired from the Postal Service. My brother Rich, and I are fortunate to maintain 2 camps in the Adirondacks of New York. The "3 Shoe's" was our Dad's camp. Rich does a great job as overseer, with a priority towards keeping the legacy started by Pop, George, and Cozzy alive! Mine is "The Little Green Camp". More rustic, LMAO!, but with everything required for a great hunting/fishing vacation. We have always kept a "Camp Journal" and photo album at our deer camps. Everyone is encouraged to contribute! Over time it is great to relive some of our favorite experiences and reflect. Its also interesting to see how our attitudes and values and appearances (LOL!) have changed over the years. My wife and I currently live in South Carolina, but my camp and my heart can be found in the Adirondacks of upstate New York every November!
